The latest addition to my website is Antonis Samarakis: Το λάθος (The Flaw). In an unamed country a man is arrested by the National Security Department for being part of a group opposed to the Regime. They are to drive him to Central in the capital where he will be interrogated. However the NSD has a plan which cannot fail. It seems basically to be the old good cop-bad cop routine . The car breaks down and they wait in the town. The interrogator behaves as his friend – they go out to eat and drink, go to the beach with two young women and play chess. But will he break down and confess or is there a flaw in the Plan? It is something of a strange tale as we follow both what happens and the thoughts of the two men as the day progresses.
